Our Story

The roots of BlueBoost begin with Manny’s dad, a young father in Silicon Valley who became a parent at just 16 years old. With bills stacking up and fast‑food wages barely keeping the lights on, he needed a real trade and a real shot at building a future.

Encouraged by his uncle, he pursued plumbing. But at 17, he was too young to be hired. Instead of giving up, he walked into a plumbing shop and offered something bold: he would work every day for free after his other jobs if they would teach him the trade and guarantee him a job at 18.

That determination became the foundation of the family’s DNA.

Nearly a decade later, he opened his own plumbing company in Silicon Valley. Throughout Manny’s childhood, his dad encouraged him to someday join the business — but Manny built his own path first, developing skills in teaching, sales, and leadership that would later transform the company.

When COVID hit, Manny stepped in temporarily… and never left.

He helped restructure operations, train technicians, improve communication, and scale into consistent multimillion‑dollar years.

The biggest turning point came from analyzing data: $13 million in unsold estimates over six months. Not because customers didn’t want the work, but because they didn’t fully understand *why* it was needed.

No simple, technician‑friendly tool existed to explain the WHY clearly — so Manny built BlueBoost for their own technicians.

The results were immediate. Confidence rose. One technician who struggled with English closed his first $100,000 estimate.

It became clear this wasn’t just a tool for one shop — it was something the entire trades industry needed. That’s how BlueBoost was born.
